How we calculate a custom t-shirt price
- Each = blank + transfer + vinyl + labor + electricity + waste + packaging
- Recommended shirt price from target margin after fees
Example
Example: a $4.25 adult tee with a $2.40 transfer
2 minutes press at $16/hr, $0.04 power, 5% waste, $0.80 poly bag, 50% margin, 6.5% fees.
- Blank + transfer are most of the cost.
- Labor is short but still real on a 24-shirt order.
How much should I charge?
Charge the recommended shirt price. Boutique blanks need a new quote — do not reuse a Gildan number. Youth, adult and plus are different blanks.
Pricing tips
