How to Price Resin Crafts

Mixed ounces, not bottle ounces, are what you use. Failed pours need a waste line.

Measure the mold, then the mix

Use the Resin Volume Calculator to estimate ounces from shape and depth. Add extra for cups, sticks and the last bit that will not scrape out.

Split that mixed amount by the manufacturer ratio. A 2:1 pour that you treat like 1:1 will either starve the cure or waste resin — both are cost problems.

Molds are a per-cast cost

Divide mold price by the number of good casts you expect. A $18 mold used 12 times is $1.50 in each piece before resin goes in.
