- Area = width × height (inches)
- Film, ink, powder = area × each rate
- Transfer production = those + extra materials + labor + electricity + waste
- Total cost = transfer production + garment + packaging
- Price from target margin after fees

Example: a 10×12 adult tee
120 sq in, film $0.012, ink $0.018, powder $0.006 per sq in, $0.25 extra, $4.75 blank, 6 minutes at $16/hr, $0.08 power, 5% waste, $0.90 packaging, 50% margin, 6.5% fees.

- Measure the bounding box you actually print, including bleed.
- Raise waste on neon inks or first-time gang sheets.
- Keep a saved rate card for film/ink/powder so quotes stay consistent.
