  1. Build total cost from filament, power, machine, labor, waste and packaging.
  2. Fees = price × platform fee %.
  3. Profit = price − fees − cost.

  • If profit per hour is tiny, the listing is a hobby rate.

How much should I charge?

How do I know if a 3D print listing is profitable?

Subtract real production cost and fees from the price, then divide by hours. Dollars of profit can still be a bad wage.
